A lifelong Alaskan, Craig was raised in Fairbanks. In addition to a finance degree from the University of Virginia, Craig holds a law degree from Washington and Lee University and an MBA from Duke University. As a young man he clerked for Alaska Superior Court Judge Ralph Beistline and interned with investment managers for the Alaska Permanent Fund on three different occasions.

Having worked on innumerable deals and financings for corporate and governmental clients, he is one of the top finance attorneys in Alaska. Craig is also well known for his practice in complex oil and gas matters, including tax disputes, litigation, and leasing and unitization. He is a goal-oriented attorney that believes quality representation starts with integrity.

Craig is strongly committed to public service. Wherever Alaska’s best interests are at stake, he stands ready to fight. He served as Alaska’s Attorney General under Governor Walker, as the Statehood Defense Coordinator under Governor Dunleavy, and as an almost ten-year Trustee of the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation under both Administrations.
